Leaping from One Opportunity To The Other

When I was searching for a home based business, I asked myself this question many times. “Oh, this sounds good, could this be “the one”?

I joined opportunity after opportunity always asking myself the same question, but I guess the answer was: “No”, because I always kept looking, searching.

I remember a friend… well, he’s not really a friend, but a friendly neighbor, and he’s always jumping from one MLM to another.

Every 2-3 months my phone rings, and it’s him, and I know the drill, he’s with a new company and he sounds very excited, and he tries to recruit me into this “incredible-awesome-once in a lifetime-this will make you rich this year” opportunity.

I have never joined him in any venture, and you want to know why? Because I don’t believe in his hype, because I know he’s going to jump into another opportunity in a couple of months. He just hasn’t found “The One”.

How do you know if you have found “The One”? Easy!

  • When you stop searching for a better opportunity.
  • When you don’t find attractive other opportunities that people ask you to review.
  • When it’s natural for you to talk about your product/service every day.
  • When you use your product/service every day and miss it when you don’t.
  • When you have the “getting started butterflies” each and EVERY day.
  • When you would share it with other people even if wouldn’t make money on it.
  • When you see yourself in the same business over the years.
  • When everything about it is so you!

I lost a lot of money searching for the perfect opportunity for me. I tried so many different things, I fell for so many scams, but I’m glad I didn’t give up searching when I felt like giving up because I would have never found “The One”.

In order to make it easier to find the right business for you and to minimize time and money loss, take the time to sit down to ACTUALLY write down what your expect from the business opportunity.

When I sat down and wrote my requirements for a home based business, this is what I came up with:

  • time tested, established company
  • good reputation
  • quality but affordable products that I would buy even if there was no income opportunity attached
  • green, organic oriented
  • low start up… free would be better!
  • no quotas
  • no forced auto-ships
  • easy to qualify for bonuses
  • great team support
  • spanish marketing materials (I live in Puerto Rico!)

This made is so much easier, with my list in front of me I went ahead and started evaluating companies, this time, in a “smarter” way until I found the perfect one for me to join.

I hope that you have found the one for you too, but if you are still like my neighbor jumping from one program to the other, I invite you to check my free to join work at home opportunity.
